Doepfer Musikelektronik GmbH is a manufacturer of audio hardware, mostly synthesizer modules, based in Gräfelfing, Germany and founded by Dieter Döpfer.
Born in the late seventies as a small lab developing synths utilities, like sequencers and cv converters, it is today mostly now for having standardized the eurorack format who lead to the new modular-synth wave.
